Mark Goodier is moving to the Saturday and Sunday 10am till 1pm slot on Greatest Hits Radio following the arrival of Ken Bruce.He’ll replace Pat Sharp on weekends from April 8th, over the Bank Holiday weekend, starting each show with the Top 10 at 10.Pat is leaving the station after four years to explore other opportunities.Other changes in the new look line-up include a second show for Des Paul, who gets Saturday Lates in addition to Friday night on the network.And Forth 1 breakfast presenters Boogie and Arlene Stuart will be hosting a Sunday evening show together from 7pm.Gary Stein, Group Programme Director Hits Radio Brand said: “I am delighted to be able to share news of our exciting new weekend line-up and especially pleased that Mark Goodier, who has been with Greatest Hits Radio from the start, will be hosting not one but two new shows as part of the revamp including the much-loved Top 10@10.“As well as taking the reins of weekend mid-mornings he will also be providing cover for Ken Bruce and for the appointment to listen radio that is PopMaster!“With Des Paul, Boogie and Arlene Stuart also bringing us new weekend shows it can only mean even more of the good times for our ever-growing number of Greatest Hits Radio listeners. As part of these weekend changes, we will be saying goodbye to Pat Sharp who is leaving us to explore other opportunities and we wish him well.”
