UK commercial PSB Channel 4 is to introduce a new app in 2026, suggesting it will better help the broadcaster to provide value to its advertisers, being much more accessible.Speaking at the DTG Summit in London, Rak Patel, Chief Commercial Officer, Channel 4, said: “We will have a new digital experience, a new app which we’re massively excited about,” clarifying that the app would be a reboot of existing streaming app.“It’ll be a really big moment for us,” Patel added.
