Channel 4 News will host a national television debate featuring the five main political parties ahead of the upcoming local elections. The hour-long debate will take place in Hull on April 29th, ahead of polling day on May 1st.Presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy will host the televised debate live on Channel 4 News, with a politically-balanced studio audience in attendance. The format will feature a panel of representatives from the main parties, who will discuss set topics affecting local communities and take questions from the audience.
