Shopping channel Create and Craft has confirmed its closure, days after Sky removed the channel from its programme guide. In recent weeks Create and Craft had stopped taking new orders and several customers had complained on social media that they had yet to receive their orders. The channel itself had been showing recordings of earlier demonstrations, but these have now been replaced by a static caption.“With heavy hearts, we share the news that today marks the closure of Create and Craft. This is not a moment we ever thought we’d face, and everyone here has been taking the time to reflect on the countless memories we’ve created together over the years,” Create and Craft posted on social media.Create & Craft and sister service Craft Extra were removed by Sky after failing to meet the platform’s rules to broadcast at least six hours of non-repeating programmes.Launched in 2003 as a spin off from Ideal World, Create and Craft was later sold to Hochanda Global.Ideal World itself entered administration in July 2023.
