Sky Breakfast viewers have ripped into the ‘awful’ studio as Kay Burley’s new show kicked off - ranting ‘is this in a caravan?!’She was joined by Gareth Barlow and political correspondent Mhari Aurora - who had both been on air since 6am - while Wilfred Frost was on hand to preview the day's news agenda.Kay carried out interviews with Defence Secretary Grant Schapps and shadow minister for creative industry and digital, Rhondda Bryant among others, but some Sky viewers were too distracted by the new studio to concentrate.Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one viewer wrote: "They keep moving the chairs around … but nothing changes …"Another added scathingly: "I assume this new studio set up is the temporary one in the caravan in the back yard until the new one is finished !!"A third tweeted: "Why are you broadcasting from a corridor? When will the new studio be ready?"Meanwhile a fourth shared: "The new studio set up is awful."Others were a bit more positive, writing: "Love the new concept, guys. However, the backdrop could be better. The office in the background is a distraction and looks drab too."Another shared: "I really enjoyed your discussions with Kay Burley on Sky. Watching and admiring from Samoa."Ahead of the new-look set up for her Breakfast show, Kay said: "Breakfast is becoming even brighter here on Sky News."I'm excited to be presenting from a new state-of-the-art studio - and to be joined by a great new line-up."Gareth, Mhari and Wilfred will be with me, each bringing their unique brand of first-rate, quality journalism."It'll be the best breakfast show in the business. Join us."
