Clive Tyldesley has reaffirmed his belief that Sky Sports' pre-match coverage of Sunday's Manchester derby was poor by taking another dig at the broadcaster on Monday morning. On Sunday, the commentator let it be known that he was left unimpressed with their use of an 'urban poet' in Manchester-born rapper Tays.Seen wearing a Manchester City shirt, Tays raps over a beat about his club's recent dominance over bitter rivals Manchester United.Walking around the city, Tays boasts why Manchester 'is blue' - reeling off the club's three successive Premier League titles as well as last season's emphatic Treble success. It led to Tyldesley, 69, taking to X, formerly Twitter, though posting his unflattering opinion of the song.'Anyone else that could manage to watch a big football match without an overture from an urban poet now?' he posted. And on Monday, the commentator doubled down on his thoughts by pushing it forward with a tongue-in-cheek post - referencing his preference for legendary UK rapper Mike Skinner of 'The Streets'.'More of a Mike Skinner man myself. Original pirate material...' he wrote, accompanied by a wink emoji. The artist is good friends with fellow Northern music icon, Aitch, having been pictured at the Pride of Britain Awards alongside each other earlier this month. While Aitch is known for being a diehard Manchester United fan, the two put their rivalries aside for friendship. In the rap, Tays mentions City's journey from Maine Road, the home of Pep Guardiola's club until 2003, to the Etihad Stadium, ending his rap on: 'This City's staying blue.'In similar coverage, Sky Sports also posted a clip of Aitch and Marcus Rashford, with the young rapper joking that 'Marcus is going to get me a deal at United soon!Manchester United went on to suffer a damning 3-0 home defeat, having now lost half of their opening 10 matches of this season's campaign. For City, they sit third in the Premier League on 24 points - two behind table-toppers Tottenham Hotspur.
