Vicky Pattison has claimed she was told to 'push' Loose Women guests who were on the verge of tears. The Georgie Shore star, 35, was a panellist on the ITV Daytime show at various points between 2015-2019, and has now opened up on her experience.Vicky has alleged that during interviews, producers instructed her via an earpiece to increase the pressure on emotional guests in a bid to get them to cry.The former Queen Of The Jungle also told how she could probably be seen by viewers, shaking her head at the requests as she refused to comply.Despite her damning claims, Vicky insisted she wasn't throwing 'shade' at the show today, adding: 'I've heard the team has absolutely changed behind the scenes.'Speaking on her podcast, Vicky Pattison: The Secret To... she told listeners: 'I used to do Loose Women.... I remember getting voices in my ear saying: ''She's about to cry, push her on this…'''Like when we were interviewing people and I just remember – if you ever see a clip of me on Loose Women, I bet you I'm shaking my head. Because I'm physically like: ''There's no way I'm doing that, no way I'm doing that''.'However, Vicky also insisted she wasn't throwing 'shade' at the current Loose Women offering, adding: 'I've heard the team has absolutely changed behind the scenes.'Following her comments, a source close to Vicky told The Mirror: 'Vicky has always been a huge fan of Loose Women and loves the whole Loose Women family.'She has been a guest many times and has loved each and every appearance on the show. They consistently offer a very welcoming and safe space for her.'Back in July 2016, Vicky herself broke down in tears during an emotional segment on Loose Women. The former Geordie Shore star was talking to panellists Coleen Nolan, Kaye Adams and Jane Moore about insecurities and took part in an experiment about what was really running through her mind when it came to her own self image. In the clip, she said: 'Oh my god, what are you doing here? You don’t fit in, you’re not as good as everyone else. Everyone's looking at you and thinking who are you and what do you do here. Make it easier for yourself and go now.'After watching a pre-recorded clip of herself openly saying the negative thoughts she had about herself, a tearful Vicky explained: 'I feel really stupid hearing that back.'I try so hard to put on this persona, this brave face that you’re strong and that you’re hard and that the things people say don’t effect you.'I don’t want to be that role model who tells little girls you need to listen to these people. It is demoralising!'Back in 2017, Vicky revealed the real reason she left Loose Women, stating that it made her feel 'inadequate'.Speaking on Lorraine she said: 'I can't thank the 'Loose Women' team and everybody at ITV enough for giving me such an amazing opportunity, but for me, I think I tried to run before I could walk.'I think there were maybe certain things that were discussed and certain debates that we'd have, and I'd be desperate to get involved but I'd feel a little bit like, 'I really don't have an opinion on this'.'It was marriage, and it was kids. At the time, I couldn't even get a lad to text me back.'
