The channel, which us part of the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), offers classic military and action-themed drama, sci-fi and comedy with factual and news programmes.It will close on June 30th when the frequency used by the COM7 multiplex (also known as Mux E) are being handed over to the mobile operator EE.In a statement Forces TV said: “We are very sad to go but, as a military charity and media organisation, we’re focusing our resources on our core mission: to entertain, inform, connect and champion our UK armed forces, families and veterans.”Forces TV also broadcasts on Sky and Virgin Media.
