Story from C21Media:

UK-based production and distribution group Tinopolis has appointed Hannah Wyatt as CEO of UK unscripted content.

Reporting to Tinopolis CEO Jennifer Roberts, Wyatt will be responsible for overseeing production output from the group’s UK producers Mentorn Media and Firecracker Films and driving strategic direction, building on its programme library and leading a new content strategy spanning unscripted, digital and audio content.

She will work alongside the US and UK teams to develop and exploit IP and identify opportunities for growth.

Wyatt joins the group from her role as MD factual entertainment and events at BBC Studios, where she led the strategic, creative and commercial operations for the last seven years.

At BBC Studios, she was responsible for more than 700 staff across four locations producing more than 600 hours of television a year, including Top Gear, Dragons’ Den, The One Show, Antiques Roadshow and Gardeners World.

She also oversaw the team that delivered coverage of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the coronation of King Charles as well as new formats Hungry For It and Ultimate Wedding Planners (BBC); Unique Boutique and Great Home Transformation (Channel 4); and Lost Dog, Found Dog & Heart Hospital (Channel 5).

Prior to her tenure at BBC Studios, Wyatt was MD of Boundless productions for four years, overseeing output including The Apprentice, Grand Designs, Escape to the Country, Michael Portillo’s Railway Journey’s and The Week the Landlords Moved In.

Roberts said: “Hannah has a wealth of knowledge of the content and IP markets and excellent relationships here and in the US, and we are delighted she is bringing all that experience back in-house to build on a great legacy with the fantastic teams of creative producers here at Tinopolis.”

Wyatt added: “I can’t wait to bring my experience to the role where I hope to deliver a multifaceted content strategy, meeting the needs of today’s market.”
