RXTV: NOW Music adds channels on Samsung TV Plus

Story from RXTV:

Fans of music from the 1970s, 80s, 90s and 2000s can get their fix on Samsung’s in-built streaming channel platform as NOW Music expands its channel selection on TV Plus.

Originally exclusive to satellite and cable, NOW Music has been adding its channels to various streaming platforms, including Pluto TV and Channelbox. NOW 80s has been part of the Samsung TV Plus line-up for a while, but it’s now been joined by sister channels NOW 70s and NOW 90s & 00s.

NOW 70s is on TV Plus channel 4710, NOW 90s and 00s is on TV Plus channel 4712.

TV Plus allows owners of Samsung smart TVs and selected smartphones and tablets to access a growing library of free streaming channels, including a number of channels that are making the transition from traditional broadcast platforms to streaming.

NOW Music joins Vevo, XITE and Trace as part of Samsung’s 13-channel music TV line-up. However, Staccs has exited the platform after one year, removing three music channels from TV Plus.

NOW Music channels became part of Sky’s streaming service (Sky Glass/Sky Stream) last year.

In other Samsung TV Plus-related news, Narrative Entertainment has announced the arrival of its GREAT! mystery channel on the platform. As of 12th March, the channel hasn’t yet appeared on the line-up. The channel already streams on other platforms including Netgem and Rakuten TV. On Freeview, internet connected devices can stream GREAT! mystery on channel 61.
