Daily Mirror: Sky History +1 closes next month

Story from Daily Mirror:

Sky has just confirmed to Mirror Online that a pair of popular channel have been removed from the telly planner, meaning users will now longer be able to tune and watch content shown on the services.

The affected channel is Sky History +1. The shutdown is slightly confusing as these premium brands are part of a deal between Sky and Hearst Networks UK - Hearst owns the History Channel brand. It's unclear why things have been taken off the air and there's no word if the channel will return in the future.

What we do know is that anyone who enjoyed watching content on Sky History +1 will need to use Sky History HD - which remain live - or switch to on-demand platforms instead..

It's also been confirmed that the change do not affect any other Sky History channel.
