Broadband TV News: National League goes live on DAZN

Story from Broadband TV News:

DAZN has become the global home of the Vanarama National League with both domestic UK and global rights.

The streaming service is offering National League TV as a standalone channel which can be purchased separately or on top of a standard DAZN subscription. The agreement was initially announced in August.

The National League comes immediately below the Premier League, and EFL competitions; the Championship, League 1 and League 2. It comprises the National League, National League North, and National League South.

Subscribers can access a wealth of live games as well as catch up on highlights and watch official full match replays. DAZN will now produce and stream all National League matches, as well as a significant selection of top games from National League North and National League South.

However, a majority of matches fall within the Saturday blackout window in the UK and won’t be shown live.

The blackout window is designed to protect smaller clubs – such as those in the National League – where a game shown on TV might significantly impact attendance.
