Daily Mail: Jules Breach to replace Des Kelly as TNT touchline reporter

Story from Daily Mail:

Jules Breach is set to replace Des Kelly as the new main touchline reporter and post-match interviewer at TNT Sports.

The new sports channel, which will replace BT Sport in the schedules from next Tuesday, are in the process of finalising their line-up of presenters and pundits ahead of next week's launch with Breach understood to be lined up for a major match-day role.

Breach has worked at BT Sport for several years as a presenter of their Saturday afternoon results programme, Score, which was axed at the end of last season after seven years.

The 36-year-old Brighton fan has also been working for Channel 4 presenting their live coverage of England games, most recently the under 21's European Championship final victory over Spain last Saturday, and TNT bosses want her to replace Kelly, whose shock departure was revealed by Mail Sport on Tuesday.

Breach is set to become the third female member of TNT's new-look presenting team, with the company's American owners Warner Bros Discovery eager strike a different tone from the often laddish banter indulged in by male ex-players.

As previously revealed by Mail Sport Laura Woods is due to replace Jake Humphrey as the main presenter of TNT's Champions League coverage, while Lynsey Hipgrave will continue fronting their Premier League games. In addition Lucy Ward and Karen Carney will have major roles as co-commentators.

Kelly's surprise departure from TNT follows a raft of changes this summer at their main rivals Sky Sports, who have parted company with many long-serving stalwarts of their football coverage including Graeme Souness, Jeff Stelling, Martin Tyler and Geoff Shreeves.
