BT Sport want Laura Woods to present their live Premier League coverage when they rebrand as TNT Sport next season.Mail Sport has learned that Woods has held positive talks with the new channel, which is owned by Warner Bros Discovery, who are confident she will sign up.BT’s Premier League games this season were hosted by Jake Humphrey and Lynsey Hipgrave, who was given the Saturday lunchtime slot after joining at the start of the campaign.It is understood that the offer to Woods includes presenting live matches and involvement in other programming.Woods currently presents the morning breakfast show on talkSPORT, for which she has won several awards, after hosting ITV’s World Cup coverage in Qatar last year.She previously spent 13 years at Sky Sports in a number of roles including pitchside reporting, interviewing and presenting before leaving last year to join ITV, for whom she also fronts their live NFL coverage.BT have begun heavily promoting TNT during recent weeks ahead of its launch this summer, which has followed Warner Bros Discovery’s takeover of the company.A spokesman declined to comment on their interest in Woods.
