Executives from Amazon, Netflix and Sky will discuss new obligations on services proposed as part of the UK government’s draft Media Bill.Anna Hatfield, Public Policy Manager, Amazon, Benjamin King, Senior Director of Public Policy UK and Ireland, Netflix and Alistair Law, Director of Policy, Sky will give their views to the DCMS Committee.The prominence of Public Service Broadcasters on smart TVs and the obligations on smart speaker platforms to provide access to radio stations is also likely to be discussed.The Committee will then move on to explore the protections for radio in more detail with the second panel, made up of Google, TuneIn and techUK.
