Radio Times: Disney branded channels to close in UK on October 1st

Media Boy Blog has seen on the Radio Times web site that Disney has confirmed that Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior will leave Virgin Media UK by the end of September. 

A statement from Disney read: “From 1 October,  Disney+ will become the exclusive home for content from Disney Channel, DisneyXD and Disney Junior in the UK.” 

Natural history and wildlife channel National Geographic and US entertainment channel Fox are to remain on Virgin.
