Reports: Sky to launch new Cinema channel for non customers

Reports say that Sky are set to close Sky Cinema Premiere +1 on July 23rd.

Reports also say that Sky will launch Sky Cinema Animation on July 23rd and reports say will be available at no extra cost to all non Sky Cinema customers.

Radio Times: Disney branded channels to close in UK on October 1st

Media Boy Blog has seen on the Radio Times web site that Disney has confirmed that Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior will leave Virgin Media UK by the end of September. 

Sky Racing goes HD on Virgin Media UK

Virgin Media UK has replace Sky Racing with Sky Racing HD on Virgin UK Channel 535.

Sony axe Crime Channel

Sony has today axe Sony Crime Channel in the UK and N. Ireland.

Channel was broadcasting on Virgin UK Channel 193.

Just after midnight (00.02am BST) last night Media Boy HQ saw Virgin Media cutting Challenge +1 from it network.

1.10pm UPDATE: Sky has just removed it from Sky Digital.
