FT.com is reporting that Virgin Media is closing in on a deal to bulk up in the WiFi industry after agreeing to take over an Arqiva unit in a deal worth tens of millions of dollars.
The Financial Times understands that the sale is likely to be completed next week and represents a further attempt by Virgin Media, which is owned by Liberty Global, to tackle the power of BT and Sky, which both have large WiFi divisions.
