STV Glasgow to launch in June on Virgin Media

STV has confirmed that its new city TV channel will begin broadcasting on June 2 2014, with a flagship live magazine show called The Riverside Show running for two hours each weekday evening.

The brand new channel will be on air every day from 12pm until 12am, with an entertaining mix of news and features with a live and interactive format that will encourage viewers to get involved.

Ahead of the first broadcast on June 2, TV viewers will be asked to retune their TV to pick up Freeview channel 26.

The new channel will complement STV’s current portfolio of locally focused services on air, online and on mobile.

STV Glasgow has confirmed that it will also launch on Sky and Virgin Media.
