GCap Media has finally disposed of Planet
Rock to an unnamed third party, much to the annoyance of Brian May who was close
to buying the station.
The Queen lead guitarist is "shocked and hugely
disappointed" that GCap Media have sold the station to a third party, without
informing him of a change of plan. Planet Rock is now out of reach, May said on
his website today.
