Virgin Media is to offer customers who take Virgin Media's XL TV package an additional six Setanta Sports channels.

I have been told by an Virgin Media insider that Setanta and Virgin are only days away from doing an deal that will 'reduced the price on the Setanta Sports Package'.

Liverpool FC TV to launch in Setanta Sports Pack?

Media Boy HQ have found this on Liverpool FC.tv Web Site: 'LFC TV will also be available on cable via Virgin Media as part of the Setanta Sports Pack. Further details to be released shortly.'

According to this weeks Broadcast Magazine, Viacom's new general entertainment channel 'MTV R' will launch this autumn after MTV UK is being rebranded to MTV ONE on July 22.

I got this info from my insider over the weekend: On the 24th May, Toonami will be renamed Cartoon Network Too and it WILL be on Virgin TV Channel 732.

The latest I have been told by my Insider is:

Virgin are still in talks with ITV over this and IF they can do an deal ITV on Demand will start on the 30th of May. [ Also on the Internet. ]

ITV are starting their 'On Demand' Channel on ITV.com at the end of May. And my insider think that Virgin are only testing it out right now to see if Virgin can carry all of ITV On Demand from the start.
