Virgin Media: Reduced channel listings and schedule for V box customers

As part of new channel launches for the Commonwealth Games and additional channel releases planned, we have made some changes to the information available in the channel guides for some of our existing channels. This change does not affect TiVo customers.

All 'That's TV' Channels to be shown on Virgin Media

Local TV broadcaster 'That's TV' has confirmed the following channels will also launch on Virgin Media.

• That's Basingstoke (Only in 'ITV Meridian' areas using the Hannington Transmitter).
• That's Surrey (Only in 'ITV Meridian' areas using the Hannington Transmitter).
• That's Oxford (Only in some 'ITV Meridian' areas using the Oxford Beckley Transmitter).
• That's Reading (Only in 'ITV Meridian' areas using the Hannington Transmitter).
• That's Salisbury (Only in 'ITV Meridian' areas using the Salisbury Transmitter).
• That's Solent (Only in some 'ITV Meridian' areas using the Rowridge VP Transmitter).

Ofcom reveal winners for Basingstoke and Maidstone

Brighton local TV Channel to launch on Virgin Media

Local TV Broadcast "Latest Brighton" has confirmed that they will launch on Freeview and also on Virgin Channel 159 on August 28th.

New name for Sky Sports News from August 12th

Sky has today confirmed that Sky Sports News will be known as Sky Sports News HQ from August 12th on Virgin Channel 501.

Sky Sports FREE on Virgin Media on August 16th

All seven Sky Sports channels will be free to every Virgin Media household on Saturday August 16.

ITV has today reveal that "ITV Be" will launch on 8th October 2014 on Virgin Media.

Sky Sports to launch Sky Sports Ryder Cup Channel

Sky Sports has confirmed that Sky Sports 4 and Sky Sports 4 HD will become known as Sky Sports Ryder Cup and Sky Sports Ryder Cup HD on Virgin Channels 505 and 515 for two weeks from September 18th 2014.
