MTV has cemented its place as a general entertainment channel on the Virgin Media platform after its parent company struck a wide-ranging carriage renewal with cable operator Virgin Media.

The head of the London Evening Standard's TV channel 'London Live' has confirmed to the Westminster Media Forum on local media. 

"What "still needs to be resolved" is Virgin Media's offer of slot 159 on its TV service." Which he feels is too low down.
